Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This policy explains how What’s Up Summerland? uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to make the site work, keep it secure, or understand how it’s used. Similar technologies (like local storage) do comparable jobs. We refer to all of them here as “cookies”.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies. These keep the Site working and secure and can’t be turned off through the Site. They include cookies set by our content-delivery and security provider, Cloudflare, to protect the Site from malicious traffic, and standard WordPress cookies used when someone signs in to manage content. They don’t track you across other websites.
We don’t currently use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
We do not use cookies to sell your data or to serve advertising.
Third-party content
Some pages may link to or embed content from other services (for example, a venue’s website or a social media page). If you interact with embedded content, that third party may set its own cookies, governed by their policies — not this one.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Turning off strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working. Instructions for common browsers are available in each browser’s help section.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Site changes. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
